Donate Life 5K Run

On your mark......Get Set....Go....well..not me...im here to do photography...I'll be here when you get back.....Ill keep the Gatorade on ice for you...ok Big Guy....this weekend I had the pleasure of photographing some wonderful athletes of all sizes and shapes. From kids to runners who were seasoned veterans. Many people see me and say...ur in shape...ur play ball. Sprinting and running are two totally different beasts. Football is a game of many sprints...but you can always come back to the huddle....or take it easy on a play...to get your wind back. I couldn't run 40 yards without getting winded....well I'm joking, but...not tooooo much.

Sweet 16s

I wonder why as a kid...I didn't get a Sweet 16 or are they just for girl....I don't know. But when I photograph a 16th birthday party, they are always soooo much fun. This weekend I will be photographing Angelique. I have shot her before during a step show performance, and now I will have the pleasure to work with her again. I can't wait for some cake...I hope it's lemon.

Back to the gym

I recently joined a gym to build some muscle and just overall better health. I think im in shape until im booked for an full day coverage package. Im a bowl of jello by the end of the day. I've cheated the past few days, but im re dedicating myself to improving my health. And also getting my sexy back. My gym is located in Brandon Fl. If you wanna join me. Let me know.

Perdue Wedding

Wedding of Linda and Don was a blast. The groom like most grooms were as laid back as ever...He was like..Man..you tell me what to do and I'm there. The bride was quite the contrary. She knew what she wanted down to the smallest minute detail. The wedding was in a beautiful church. The reception was a Magionos Italian Restaurant. Great Food...ooops..I'm not supposed to be eating and shooting..I couldn't help it. I love Italian food. The pic above is from her album that we are currently designing. It should be ready to present by this weekend.

Why couldnt he be my dad & not my uncle?

Im currently in Detroit assisting my mom after hip surgery. She had shared with me several times that I have an uncle that lives in Detroit. However I felt anybody that was any relation to my father, I wanted no part of. I felt they weren't worth my time.

I was wrong. He is everything I wanted my father to be. I know that be a bit haste, being that I have only known him for 2 days. He has shown me more love that my father...i mean my dad..or "SD" in the past 30 plus years. As a youngster it bothered my self esteem to think...why would my SD not come around...Im a cool kid...respectful...but dad..didnt want to be in my brothers or my life. So let me fast forward....because I sense some emotions coming and at that stage of my life...i really had ill feelings, and that is putting it very nice.

So..I was between 12 or 14, when I gave up hope on SD, now Im 36 soon to be 37 a son of my own, a beautiful wife...Im blessed. I consider myself to be the best dad in the world. Bar NONE, there's nothing I wont do for my son. He is my motivation and my daily inspiration to keep me going.

Ok..so now Im an adult..handling my own business.....So i meet my uncle and at first I was very hesitent and resreved...because when i saw him..i saw my SD. But he was totally opposite. He was very nice. Offered my plate after plate. Took me golfing...he taking me to a Detroit Tigers game. Dont know if thats a positive, because I dont think they're that good...... are they? Well not as good as the Rays baby. But overall...I kinda wish my SD would've been like this. I wonder how my life would be different now. So...I guess...why couldn't my uncle have been my dad, and my dad have been..my neighbor or the hitch hiker I passed by today.

Betts Wedding

Bill & Kirstin,

This couple was great to work with. The family and friends shared sooo much love with each other. The location was decorated beautifully. The colors were a nice cool pool blue & black. The wedding party was made up of friends, family and the groom's Sigma Brothers. The wedding was scheduled to be outside but the bride and groom made an executive decision to move it to the inside...which ended up being a smart move, because it did rain a little.
